New Stall, New Tires - "Bad Day"
Since i finished the install of my Fuddle and new Tires i was anoxious to go to the track in the hope of a 12 second slip... But as always, Track prep was inexistant, and they only had working the last cell. Such a crappy track on non event times .
History of the day...
Car weight is 3250lbs / + 132lbs of me.
DA sucks i know... No other place to go.
1st Run - With 171 lbs of tools and stuff in the back = 13.410 / +7158 DA
2000 RPM Launch
2nd Run - Pulled out the extra weight = 13.862 / +7158 DA
2000 RPM Launch
3rd Run - 13.620 / +7156 DA
2500 RPM Launch
4th Run - 14.019 / +7428 DA
Idle Launch
5th Run - 13.911 / +7428 DA
3000 RPM Launch
6th Run - Placed back all my stuff and more 220 lbs extra 13.349 / +7428 DA
2500 RPM Launch
That was it. Still trying to get a feel of the stall and a new launch technique, but it's pretty obvious that my car is not hooking at all because it's doing better with more weight . Got to start placing money on there.
So i left without a 12 sec slip, sucked for me, but we had a great time. Got some videos but none worth watching .
Thanks to the people that have helped me over here, I really appreciate the help.

MPH and 60' time would help to understand what kind of power you're making. Also gear ratio, tire size and type, suspension set up etc.
We all want you to get that 12 sec. slip, you're making us look bad.

Guys, he is in Mexico ... I believe up in the hills. He is pretty much bolt-ons.
Luis, I would suggest you do a long(er) burnout and look for the sticky patches on the track. You have ET Streets right? By doing a nice 3-5 second burnout, you should be able to hook better. Also try gradually depressing the throttle, eventually going WOT. My lkocal track sucks most of the time for prep, but I can still cut 1.95 60' times on street tires. This is due to my burnout and line up technique.

Well, you have a "12 second" car, but the DA is owning you. The DA get's like that here too, and that's added onto the beginning 5300ft elevation, which already costs you about a second over sea level.
What are you 60ft's/mph like? It's possible you might have a 12 in it if you're spinning really bad.

All the other runs were with massive burnouts at different tire pressure.
The last run (13.3) was 12psi with a looooong burnout and the overweight again.

DA sucks, but at least it sucks for everyone there. The bad thing is keeping up with the FI guys..
Here are some Videos, You can see there is no track prep on the daylight one...
13.9 5th Run
- Had to let off the gas just after the launch and got on it quick after.
13.6 3rd Run
- Neon was taking his coffe...
13.4 1st Run
- ....
13.3 6th Run
- Actually when i pre "launch" the drivers tire lifts...
Gotta Start placing money on the suspension.. Thanks everyone for their time to read this and comments.

No me andes llamando huey, haha, it would of been good if on that last run that extra weight wasn't in there, I think you had the tires lit up and their pressure set right.
I wonder if maybe a radial would do you better, Im in Denver 57-- some feet w/crazy DA's and my best has been a 13.5, w/ lid, longtubes,LM exh., 4.10s and Nitto's set at 27psi and not heating them up right.
Looking for 12s this year w/ addition of a 4k stall and linelock, haha.
I wish I would of waited for the MT radial but at the time, everybody was out of stock.
What was your best before the tires and stall? BTW, Im going to get you a helmet.
