Don't know what Cali's driving laws are, but most tracks let any licensed driver make a pass. At least that's what all the local tracks do.

The cops have no authority as far as traffic laws AT the track. It's not a public roadway. For all intents and purposes, a baby could legally drive there if the owners would let it.

Think about all the junior dragsters that go to the track.

You might want to give the track a call because it is there choice whether or not someone under 18 can run. For example, our track now has a new policy that if your under 18 you must have a signed concent form from both your parents.

Which track? Most out here (LACR, Famoso, CA Dragway, Irwindale) will allow you to if your parents sign a waiver in person. Sounds like you have that covered. If you did not have your parents sign the waiver, you would need to be 18 or over to race ... as per CA regulations (I believe).

I started bracket racing when I was 15 .. I'd follow my dad to the track and have my mom ride with me so I could drive ..

You don't even need a driver's license here... if you've got a vehicle, you can drag race.

Same here at IRP though I don't know how strictly it is enforced.

You have to be at least 16 with a license to race where i go to race. It specifically says on the tracks website if I remember correctly.
