Octane Vs. A/F Ratio
My car has run 12.2:1 A/F (motor) on my wideband since I have had it and yesterday I put some 110 octane in the car for the spray and on motor it dropped to 11.4:1 A/F ratio. Would you imagine this is due to the fuel? Also the car is tuned for 93 octane. Thanks,
Joe

what is your a/f with 110 with and without the giggle juice
your airfuel can vary on a few things, first is this a wet or dry shot?
if it is a wet, get a seperate fuel regulator for the n2o and adjust the pressure sepperate from the motor to get it tuned where you want it.
second are you running leaded or unleaded 110? although much cheaper for 110 the leaded will take out your o2 sensors quick. there are wideband sensors made for leaded fuels they still get fouled over time, a better route if using leaded gas is egt sensors
also the temp of your plugs will affect a/f ( although a colder set of plugs will be needed for the juice it will have a harder time lighting off your higher octane fuels)
looks like it is time for you to have some fun with tuning.

Yea the car usually isnt ran on the 110 but I needed to put it in the car because I had it in the can for the lawn mowers . Tuning is what im learning to do as we speak. The kit is dry and I havent sprayed with the 110 yet. I am running the gas tank dry so I can refuel with the 93 and all should be back to normal. I knew high octane is harder to burn and I didnt even think about the colder plugs. Well thanks again I will just wait till I go DP and a seperate fuelcell for the juice.
