FFboy, thanks for the link. your car sits nice inthe rear. any completed pics? looks like no motor in there.

DSG, the tire i am talking about is much wider at the sidewalls than your tire. so it could hit at the LCA. i think that is the issue i will have to deal with.

i was thinking of a 2.5" narrowed with a 6"bs wheel. that will tuck the wheel 1" more than stock. i fear its too close for a 13" wide tire!

Default 325 pics

15x10 5 inch backspacing I narrowed it an extra inch this year to tuck them up inside the wheel well better. I'll post them later, waiting for some warmer weather to get it out of the trailer.

Is the axle stock width in that pic? Looks narrow.

Gotcha...should equal 7.5" total bs. How much inner fender mod did it need to clear? Looks good in the pic.

tonyss, so do you think if i tucked the wheel 1" in from stock it would cause issues (going back to my narrow 2.5" and 6" bs wheel)?

your 2.5" narrowed with 5" bs is equal to stock right? did you have clearance issues with the spring and lca. that is what i am most concerned with. i can always cut the body if needed. i cant change the position of the suspension

325/50 - 15's stock rear, 15 x 10" prostars 7.5" BS, a lil time with a hammer and a grinder. Also used adjustable PHR to center the rear a lil better. It's a pretty tight fit, but I have had no rubbing issues, these tires don't grow much.

Edit: I just reread what you were asking, and realized you probably already have a narrowed rear, so my post is probably useless....

My car is narrowed 3inches per side with Weld Alumastars.. I'm not sure on the backspacing, but it tucks a 28x10.5 with ease. I want to run the 325/50 MT's also, but I'm not certain that they will fit. I'm gonna get under the car this weekend and check it out.

That looks good. Didn't know a 325 with a 7.5bs would fit so well.

I think you should be fine you'll just have to clearance a little more, my rear is now narrowed 3 inches per side with 5 inches of back spacing so it sounds like yours with it narrowed 2.5" per side using 6 inches of B/S will only tuck it an extra quarter inch per side. Might have to go with offset lowers.

My car is not done, it has been mini-tubbed, 15x10 with 5 inches of backspacing, narrowed 6 inches total.

Wheel bs plus narrow'd width per side = total bs.
So he is 3 + 5 = 8 total inches of bs.

You are 2.5 + 6 = 8.5 total inches of bs...1/2 inch per side deeper in to the wheelwell than he is.

What'll really screw ya up is how accurate is the bs measurement and the axle measurement...did they measure from the outer hub, etc, etc.
