Battery Relo. Question
I have relocated the battery to the hatch, my question is when I run the Power wire to the front, can I connect it to the existing battery cable? I searched and found other ways to run it just wondering if I can connect it to the factory cable, seems a lot easier.

I'm getting ready to do the same thing. What I had planned is running both positive and negative up to the engine bay and clamp an o ring on the end of it like the stock wires are. Then just stick a bolt through each o in each wire then tighten it with a nut and it should conduct electricity right on through.

You can connect the postive to the existing cable, that what i did.. You really dont want to run the ground that far up, plus most kits dont have that much length.. If you look around the trunk area..there are plenty of good grounds..
The existing battery cables need to stay anyway becuase they also run to the starter..

I connected my negative from the battery at the back.I ran my positive to the fron and coonected it to the existing stock positive cable. For insurance I took the existing negative cable and left it grounded to the block.I've run it like that a year and no problems so far.

I made this terminal block to hook the bat. cables togather,
it bolts into stock bat tray. The neg. cable is about 12'' lg. &
bolts to frame .
This is the bat. in back of my 98 TA. This is mainly a street car so theres
no bat. encloser.
I got 20' of # 1 cable from NAPA for $32
