Alot of ZO6 guys run the 18 inch BFG. I had them for a while and by no means am I a great 6sp driver as a matter of fact I suck at it and I managed a terrible 1.9x 60's. I have since quit trying to drag race my ZO6..LOL

Nitto now has am 18" radial guys are starting to like.

I have also seen a couple Vette guys take a 17 inch wheel so they look stockish and go with a MT DR. Guy named Doug round here(A4 car) has run very good short times...Like high 1.5x's

Im running the 275/35/18's BFG Drag radials, the new style. I like em. Im still working on perfecting my launch. I have 4.10s it makes it kinda tricky, but I would say they hook really good. This is my 2nd set. The first set lasted about around 10 months before I saw the replacement lines

Can you guys get any traction on the street? I currently have some Z06 wheels and was going to get rid of them due to lack of traction. I just dont think there is enough of a sidewall to hook well on the street with 18's. My 17 inch nitto's hooked pretty well after some practice. I havent got drag radial for the Z06 wheels because I was thinking of stepping back down to 17 inch wheels.

I always thought the BFG's Hooked better on the street than at the track. Maybe it was me and my non driving self...lol

i hit a 1.69, im consistant low 1.7s on my 10.5x18 z06 wheels 295/35/18
i love them!!
also i couldnt get lower 60s due to me running on the stock 80k clutch.

btw they are the BFG Gforce DRs

Do you use them on the street? If so how many miles do you get on them? I am guessing less than 5k.

I have NO issues hooking on the street............but I get less than 2000 miles and ~50 1/4 mile passes, but thats the compromise
