Default 1/8 mile to 1/4 mile time estimates?

I have heard of a lot of people talkin about figuring out there 1/4 mile time based on their 1/8 mile time. What is the formula for converting a 1/8 mile time to a 1/4 mile time? Or is there a website that does that calculation for you?

This was the best I could find, but it was pretty accurate w/ my car's times.

Generally it falls between 1.55 x 660' and 1.58 x 660' to get your 1320' time. It depends on how well your car finishes. I've found that if your car hooks really well off the line the conversion factor is actually closer to the 1.58 than the 1.55. Just my experience but compare some of the guys that are cutting 1.5 60's or better and try the conversion on a known 1320' pass. Look in the 11 second club section, try it out and see.
