I run mine without a tube. Its alot of extra rotating mass. The tubes are pretty heavy. I do have a brand new set if you are interested though. I will sell them cheap. Still in the box.

Ide run them tubeless. We had an issue w/ my nova where the tubes would bunch up during the burnout and cause a vibration downtrack. youll be fine tubeless

Really. What about using rim screws? Will they not leak air? I plan on mounting up some 28's on 15x10 draglites with screws.
I was going to use tubes. But maybe not!

You wont have any problems with them leaking if they are screwed in the right place. I have some 12X3/4 stainless screws in my QTP's.

Tubes are 6lbs and that translates to about 90lbs of unsprung weight you are adding to the rotating mass - NO tubes

sometimes the make up of the slick will actually bleed air over an extended period of time. I had a good year slick on my nova 32x14x15 that went flat in 3 weeks if i didnt put any air in it.... other then that..... i had a slow slow leak on an et street once. We go through some slicks and rarely does it happen. I doubt your gonna leave those on your car for 2 weeks untouched anyways. Moroso sells rim screws, If thunder or somebody doesnt carry them, just grab some from jegs.

I went tube-less for a season before I sold the car. No problems.

i run tubes, i kept spinning the tire on the rim and didnt know you could run screws without tubes.
ran the same before and after the tubes so the weight cant effect it that much
oh and the car feels much more stable at lower air pressure then it did without tubes

When I mount my slicks, I only use soapy water and wipe the rim and tire off before seating the bead. Doesn't slip using this method. Leave the tires out in the sun (assuming we ever get some) then mount them, makes it real easy.
