Default 325-50-15 MT Drag Radial Pics!

Took alot of work to make them fit. This tire is actually wider than the 28-10.5-15W that is on our race car!

Mean....

Those are the Weld pro-star with the 7.5" backspacing and yes the rear is stock width. The car has full adjustable suspension and has been lowered and leveled and set on KILL to HOOK! Most of the work was cutting out the front part of the inner wheel well (I wouldn't call it a mini-tub but it's pretty close)

Thanks

I think my 325's won't require the minitubbing since the Bogarts kick the tires out a bit more. I am running 28W's right now.

Thats not what I want to hear. Some people get them to fit with no mods while you had to cut your wheel well. What gives?

Do you have the rear centered with adjustable lca's?

Like I've said in the past, if you have adjustable lcas and an adjustable panhard rod then you should have no problems fitting the 325s, I had no problems fitting the 315/60 (30"/15"/13.50") which is .4" wider section width according to MT's website. I did have to bang, cut bump stops and bottom of the fenders, but no mini tubbing, unless you have a narrowed rear, crazy offset, etc. Good luck guys!

Blake, it depends on the RIMS and the their backspacing.

15x10/7.5 Pro Stars will tuck the tires a wee bit more than Bogarts. I have had both, and took pictures before and you could see the difference. When I swapped to 28W's, I didn't have to do any additional clearancing, much to my surprise. I have a set of 325's to mount, and from what I can see they will fit just fine.

I am talking with prostarts only. There was a thread not too long about with a white ta and stock length moser that didnt rub at all with 325's and no mods were done to fit them.

I have also seen pics here of another white ta that was slammed on 325's with little to no rubbing

Well, Pro Stars (15x10/7.5) + 28x10.5 ET Drag = BFH'g some of the inner fender liner, bending back or removing the bump stops, and hella grinding of stock brakes. Or add some small spacers and then you need to do less grinding. You will find that anyone running the 325's with those Pro Stars has done a buttload of hammering or is running a really small spacer. I think the Bogarts sit out an additional 1/2 inch.
