Default Pic's of my weight reduction

I haven't weighed everything I pulled, but I figure a fair amount of weight came out of the car...

I would say around 75-100#'s from what I see go ahead and take those rear speakers out also.

Good deal. The pictures are somewhat dated (a few weeks ago I believe) The speakers are out now.

I am trying to offset some of the weight I will be adding (six point roll bar).

I also have swapped the stock rim's w/ MT ET radials setup for a set of 15x3.5 prostars with Moroso DS2's up front and a 15x10 prostar with an ET Drag out back. Removed front swaybar too.
Besides what you can see in the pictures and the wheels and swaybar I think that is going to be the extent of my weight reduction, I might add a set of Kirkey's or something although I don't know how much the savings will be over the stock non leather non power seats I have now.

I can't remember off the top of my head. Let me take a peek at the car tonight after I get home from work and I will get back to you.

From what I can remember it was something like remove the little "clothes hanger" pieces and pull.

sounds good. I'm sure once I'm in there and start taking stuff apart, it won't be too bad. Where's the seat unbolt from too while your at it? I haven't even looked yet.

The fold down portion of the rear seat is just a nut and bolt on a pivoting little bracket, look towards the bottom rear on each side, it's very simple to remove, The bottom "buckets" are just a single bolt 13mm or 12mm if I remember correctly.

Honestly the interior comes apart very quick and easy just make sure you have a set of torx bits and a decent set of wrenches and sockets.

I have never taken anything but the center console and the seats out of the car and was able to do all that in way under an hour.

I've had the rear seat out for a while. I have tons of tools, torx, both the ones with teh nipple in the center and the ones without.. I should be fine. just curious if there was any problem area I should look out for.

Not a single problem or tricky area, everything was very straight forward. The biggest pita was driving around to find a decent torx bit set. 3 hardware stores, finally found what I needed at the third one.

How about putting in a lightweight carpet?

I guess I could do that, but honestly I don't mind the "tin can." Carpet really isn't that big of a deal to me.

You should get some weight off if you ditch your ABS and AC. I know those are two pretty common ones.

center console, there is a nice write up somewhere about installing a shifter, you can follow that and should have no problems. I believe it's at www.installuniversity.com
