Default Best way to launch A4

I would like to know from some of the more experienced guys what is the best way is to launch the LS-1 f-bodies on street radials. I new to these cars and powerful cars in general. The first time I tried to race I mashed the throttle down and lets just say it didn't work out THen I tried to brake torque to about a 1000 rpm and feather the throttle but is still getting too much tire spin and back end kick out. I have the stock TC, 3.23 gears and goodyear F1s. Any advice?

First you will need a good set of tires.

Lots of practice. Ditch the F1s for some DRs and you'll be better right away.

The most important thing to remember is that 100% throttle usually means massive wheel spin. Learn to drive into the converter. Try launching at half throttle and then slowly feeding in the rest of the throttle as you accelerate. Try different part throttle lauches until you find what your car likes that will let you accelerate as fast as possible without too much wheelspin. We had no choice but to learn this technique back in the 60s. You could buy 400 horsepower cars but they came on rock hard tires that were only five or six inches wide.
