custom shock mounts?

custom shock mounts? Finishing up my tub job on my 73 camaro. The shocks Im using have eyelets on the top and bottom. The lower mount has the bolt going from side to side.
Will it be ok if the top bolt goes from front to back? Make sense?
Will it be ok if the top bolt goes from front to back? Make sense?
