Good deal.

I'm about to do this myself.

Are there any tips you care to give on pulling the dash? Were you able to pull it without breaking anything?

dang, id figure someone would say that. Thats the only thing i didnt do. seems like a real pain to get off too. As for weight, i work at a bicycle shop and i filled a bike box (about 3ft. high, 1ft wide, 5ft long) filled it to the MAX and buldged the box too. Id say at least 100lbs for sure. And the pass. air bag weighs a ton also. Who would have thought it weighed that much. It went pretty easy with 2 people (must!) and the only piece i broke was the upper dash piece that goes all the way to the window w/ the defroster vent in it. The tabs were REALLY tight holding it to the dash and i cracked a little piece off the corner tryin to pry it off. Other then that its not as bad as people say. And now with 90% of everything gone im sure puttin it back on will be a piece of cake!!

heres what i went by, it was posted by another member on here, i printed it out and went by it and it was pretty straight foward:

Disconnect the battery.

Remove the E brake handle, shifter **** and console. drop the steering column from the metal brace its attatched to( remove the safety brakt too). Unbolt the steering column from the firewall. Remove A-pillar trim. Remove upper dash piece (the one with the defroster vent). Remove the speedo trim (pull firmly), Remove the speedo cluster, 4 bolts then pull firmly. Remove the stereo HVAC trim panel (pull firmly) unbolt the radio and the HVAC control panel. Remove the vaccume lines from the HVAC control panel. Remove the kick panel trim. Remove the nuts on the ground studs on the passnger and drvr side. Disconnect the wires to the pssngr side airbag, the ABS computer etc. Remove all of the srews along the top of the dash that were under the upper dash panel. Remove the bolt at the bottom of the dash, in the center, behind were the HVAC controls were (it's bolted to the tunnel). Remove the wiring that is clipped to the dash. Then pull dash forward. You may also need to unbolt the vents from the back of the dash.

Should take 2-3 hours.

Couple pounds, a sharpened putty knife gets it off, just takes a little time. Same stuff in in the T-top well. If you are there and you are taking weight out you may as well get it all. Remember 1 lb out of 10 places equals 10lbs, it alll adds up..

If you dont have a heat gun borrow someones blowdryer it will work the same and remove the wires you wont be needing like the radio stuff ,heater controls, etc.
