I was thinking about removing mine today. Has anyone done this on a TA if so did you have make anything to hold the bumper cover. I was thinking I saw a post about here once but can't find it now.

Thanks for any help.

you have to remove the bumper, then theres a foam peice that has to be removed then you can get to the support.

its pretty easy just takes time. weighs about 16lbs i think.

If you have a TA....you will have to come up with a bracket to mount them or lose your fog lights. They are mounted to the bumper.

tektrans that's nice. Do you have any problems with high speed distortion with your support? The forward facing bar looks like it would help out a lot with that.

looks good tektrans do you have to have this extra support to hold your bumper cover ,or to keep it from distorting, wouldnt mind taking mine out ,dont really care about the fog lites but i do not want any issues with my bumper cover warping inward or something?

I did it for some support and to help with distortion also. It weighs like nothing. I also put an extra ram air set up on it.

Wow, don't think I've seen that done with PVC pipe before. Metal drier hose seems to be the most practical choice and it's light.
