Default Anybody with 28x10.5's/325/50/15's lowered?

I am trying to figure out what tire to go with right now. I just mounted my 325's on and the driver side will not fit. Not even close. I know I might have to cut or beat it up a little but I dont want to butcher the car. I am wondering if my lowering springs are most to blame? The car is on jack stands right now though so I dont know? Would I just be better off with 28x10.5's? I would like to keep it lowered because I love the stance.

So how did you get them to fit sitting that low? What springs you have? That looks GOOD!

Thanks
Springs are geiger (german lower springs -1.5") or stock Z28 rearsprings that i cut 1 1/5 turn from. (dont remember wich)
Havent done anything special to make them fit, just no cutting.
Centered the wheels widh adjustable LCA and panhardrod, have at least 2/5" clearence on the inner side, have seen that they have touch the outer fenderlip a little, proberbly driving at high speeds at bumpy roads. Havent had any problem at tech inspections at the tracks.

Anybody have pics of what you trimmed and how much? I dont know what I should trim or how much since the car is off the ground, but I cant sit it on the ground with 3 tires on and know what to trim?
I do know I will need adj. LCA's to center the driver side.

Thanks for the pic! I had my ineer fender beat a little like yours from my old 315 Nittos, and the bump stops are gone, but the problem is not with the passenger side. It on. It bolted right up. Its close on a few spots and I can take care of that, but the driver wont even come close to seating. Even with my spacers. The front bottom part wont let it on the inner side. The driver side tire is close to the front fender, so I know I will have to get a set of adj. LCA's.

No need to cut the bumbstops, just dont let down the rear axle when you have the car on jackstands (or place them under the axle)
That aint no problem for us since oure 4" exhaustsystem runs under the axle and prevent lowering the axle anyway..
Can take some pics tomrow..

That said migt be true for a 28X10.5" tire but it will NEVER work that way if you ever plan to run a 28X10.5W tire........

The drivers side we had to cut alot more in the front lower fender area....plasma cutters rule

I agree. The bumpstop sticks into the side of the tire, it has to be removed or trimmed. I have adjustable lca's and adjustable panhard rod as well.

I had to use an adjustable PHB, do hammering, and rolled the fenders. I am running 28x10.5W which are wider than a 28x10.5 slick. Basically just trial and error to make it fit.

325/50-15 on oure car now, acourding to MT it shouldnt diff more in widh than 0.1"
About plasma, yea a little cutting could be nessesery for the ET drags to give them place to grove in high speeds, dragradials doesnt expand much in 140mph.
