Default Need help on WEIGHT REDUCTION!!

I have a 98 Z28 M6. I want to take off as much weight as possible but i don't want to gut the car. I like my interior. So far this is what i have done:

Spare & jack
AC compessor
wiper reserve
upper/lower control arms
K member
carbon fiber DS
headers
13lb flywheel
AC condensor
removed cats
DS loop
24lb battery in rear

How much would the SS hood & Bear brake system save me? What other things am I missing? Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks [driving]

I think the SS hood it heaver at 51#. I trashed the air bags and the stock wheel. Stock seats! Take out the rear seats. And trash the Monsoon/amp.

Colonel,

I took out my cruise control module and cable from under the hood and weighed it during my Christmas break. It's 4 lbs. I don't think you had a weight for that on your list.

BTW, for a '94 Firebird with power leather seats I weighed my stock seats:

Driver's 49 lbs.
Pass. 43 lbs.
Rear including belts 42 lbs.

Sold them to a 3rd gen owner and am replacing them with Corbeau Clubmans at 13.5 lbs. each not including mounts, which I am told weigh 5 lbs. each. That's about 100 lbs. off the car and less than $100 expense to me since I sold my stock seats.
