Default a couple of ?'s for yall

when lifting the car off the ground with a jack & stands, will it be ok to let the rear "dangle" and the shocks hold the rear up?

i did this all the time with the stock shocks obviously but i don't wanna ruin a $300 set of shocks by not knowing and stupidity. should i make some travel limiters for the rear or will it be ok for them to fully extend and hold the weight of the rear?

and basically the same ? for the front (when i get them)

thanks, Jeff

I do it all the time, with the PHB and LCA's hooked up it shouldn't put too much pressure on the shocks anyway.
