Default Need to squeeze out another tenth or two...what mod?

Okay guys, I'm kind of at a loss. I want to knock off another couple tenths without cracking the motor open, so here's what I have:

TCS 3500, 2.5 STR, Magnaflow CB, Pacesetter w/ ORY and a lid. So far it's kicking *** with those simple mods. But I want a bit more out of it before cam time.

What do you guys think is a good mod for a solid tenth or two, that won't compromise driveability?

you port and polish your tb? it wont be much improvement but you will notice it.

some kind of air damn, also noticible. i made my own, but the kits are probly a better route.

although expensive, electric water pumps are another noticible improvement.

better tires.

weight reduction of some sort- k member , a arms, rear seats. less gas in the tank.

i didnt really notice it (probly because i installed it after the ewp but) underdrive pulley.

idk lots of little things you can do that will probly add upto a pretty noticible improvement doing all of them.

Forgot to mention, already have tires, a lovely mod for certain.

Anyone have a writeup for porting and polishing the TB?

How much weight does an aftermarket k member drop?

there is tb port info in one of the external engine sticky's. id say you should do your own its easy enough, the whole advantage of the ported tb is you do it cheap imo. all you hafto do really is sand down the ridge in front of the tb blade/very easy with a dremel or a long porting bit and drill. finish it any way you like... acourding to stuff i read recently of airflow property's you might be better leaving it rough then polishing it though - wich makes it even easier+less time consuming.

most k members are advertised around 40lbs there are alot of different companies making them, theres also a arms coil overs lighter springs and drag brakes if you want to go that route. soposed to be 100lbs with all that<.

I would go with a underdrive pulley! A K member can be expensive and a lot of work. Cut outs are another mod you could do.

I would suggest a TCI 3800 or 4400, 3.73 gears, cut-out, and maybe some weight reduction. The TCI 3800 kicks *** and is still very streetable.

Nope, no gears. I haven't been convinced they are that worthwhile yet. How well have you guys been doing with them?

It looks like CAI is a good one, that's pretty reasonably priced too. How are you guys doing with those?

I'm racing at Bandimere which is a mile high in elevation, I'm doing 13.5 at 100. If it was sea level it converts to roughly 12.3. It sucks racing up here! My best mod would be moving!

I would think a 150 hp hit of nitrous will do it.

I went from stock 3.42's to a Moser 12 bolt with 4.10's with everything else the same, I took my times from 12.90's to 12.70's. Those times were really consitent each trip to the track.
