A nitrous system, a build bottom end to handle it, and the right parts will get you there. If you aren't in a rush, you can pick-up some parts used and save more $$$.

My buddy has a 95 Formula with a mild 10:1 comp 383 LT1 with stock heads (mildly ported), comp cam, BBK TB, Moroso CAI, Hooker long tubes, mufflex y-pipe and 4" catback, Turbo 350 trans with 3800 stall 10" JW convertor, 10-bolt with posi and 3.73 gears, QA1 shocks at all 4 corners, M/T ET street radials 275/60/15 at 17 psi.

Motor best is 11.70 at 114 mph 1.61 60 foot
125 hp nitrous is 10.98 at 122 mph 154 60 foot

Still has A/C and all the interior intact, only weight reduction is smog equipment is yanked.

cheapest..remove front rear bumper supports heater ac rear seats sound deadning front swaybar drag wheels with slicks skinnies, then lca relo brackets,
thats weight plus tires and suspension
now hope your tranny is good...get a cam (custom preferrably similar to a cc306) then get full exhaust get rid of flowmaster and do a 75 dry(to leave on) and 100 wet to back it...should be in the 10's for about $3000 more...
if you dont want to spray that much just for a 125 or 150 off the line

it can be done, just depends on heavy the car is and the heavier it is the more HP/TQ you need to make.

i did it with just a cam, long tubes and a 150 shot on decent suspension with mild weight reduction. still with the 700r4 with a manual valve body and a 3600 stall. went high 10's consistently.
