Question Peeps with no bumper supports...

Anybody expirience any difficulties lining up the bumper with the hood after the support and foam was removed? Mine is off about 1/4 or 1/2 of an inch in the front where the bumper and hood meet.

Any info on how I can make that sucker line up right?

Thanks,
Marck

I think the gap is something you're gonna have to live with. Seems like everyone has that problem after removing the front support.

My front fascia fits perfectly but I replaced the bumper with a piece of hardware-store aluminum angle so it is still supported.

You wouldn't to have any pics, would you? I like to get some kind of idea of what you did.

I don’t have pictures but what I did is very simple. I just replaced the bumper with a length of 2x2x1/8 inch aluminum angle. I drilled three holes in the appropriate spots for the plastic fasteners. All that is needed is careful measurement.

I see what you mean, thanks! I will try that in hopes of getting pretty close to the way it use to look.
