This is a question that will always be asked over time.
Tubes add weight but a touch of safety as well.
I don't run them b/c my slicks don't rotate on the rims. Usually when someone runs rim screws the tires will leak, thus adding tubes will solve that problem. Most 10-11 second racers I know don't run tubes, but everyone is different.

We do not use tubes. If you decide to run tubes I would use a screw kit. When you put tubes in and the tires spin on the wheel they will tear the valve stems off the tube.

I don't use tuber either... I usualy run 11.5 to 10.0 PSI in my 28x10.5 15's Never had a major problem. They don't hold air for long, but enough for one day's racing.
I have also seen ET Drags screwd to the rim, w/o tubes. They held air just fine as well.
