Default BFG DRs at track

Hello, i will be picking up some 275/35/18 BFG DR's for my TA tomorrow. Curious as the best way to use them at the track. Right now i ran a best of 13.32 @ 106 with a 2.066 60ft. Should i back into the water box and do a burnout or no water? How long should i do the first burnout for? Continue to do decent sized burnouts or what? Also what 60's do you think i'll cut with these, A4, very minimal mods in sig, and think i could cut a 12? Thanks!

I have 315/17/35 BFG Drag Radials & I run them at 12 psi on each tire. I pull 1.6 60ft on stock Suspension,

I back in to the water box & clean em off & then pull to the edge of the box right out of the water trail & light em up for about 3 to 4seconds & then just finish my burn out all the way to the line & stall my car to 2500rpms & nail the throttle.

You might need to heat them up real good & make sure to run lower tire pressure. I start at 16psi & work my way down till I am hookin.

Cam, Yank 4400, bolt ons 7.40s @ 92mph

1st Back in to water box
2nd Nail the throttle just real quick just a split second, clean off the tires, then let off.
3rd Pull out of waterbox to the edge where the concrete is dry
4th While holding your break pedal with your left foot. NAIL THE THROTTLE TO 5000RPMS TO WHERE YOU FEEL YOUR CAR KICK IN TO SECOND GEAR & THEN SMOKE THE TIRES FOR 3 to 4 seconds & then take your foot off the break & burn out to the lights & then line up & stall it up to your preffered RPM & nail the throttle.

Try that & then post up some new times. MAKE SURE YOUR DROP YOUR TIRES PRESSURE TO 16 PSI & then drop it till you are at least pulling some low 1.9 to high 1.8 60fts

Are you still on your stock converter?

You should run 12s with those tires. Good luck with it. Very good times for a stock auto on street tires.

You should easily cut some 1.8 60s and that will be enough to get you your 12 second slip.

A lot of it will depend on how well your track is hooking.

And what I do is usually spin the mover once in the box and roll forward and do my burnout.
Try a burnout around 7 seconds first and see if it hooks...if you spin do a little more burnout or let some pressure out, if you bog then less burnout or more pressure.
