Default Is 1000cfm big enough to support 600-625 NA hp???

Not RWHP but flywheel HP..... expecting motor to make somewhere in this area hp wise... using a victor "E" manifold, AFR 227's, large solid roller nitrous cam, lunati crank, JE pistons, Oliver rods, 12.5:1 compression....

Here's what I intended to use on top of the victor "E"...

It's rated at 1000cfm but I'm hoping that that is enough airflow to support the power i'm trying to make.. i don't want to buy something that is a restriction.. i know most go with elbow's and single 90mm TB's but i'm trying to avoid that....

It's hard to "over throttle body" an efi motor. I'd opt for a bigger tb for peace of mind.

Are we talking rear wheel or flywheel. My sbc made 698 flywheel with a 1000. I had it modified to 1300 and it picked up 25 flywheel. I then went to a 2000 and I made 765 flywheel. I am a firm believer in bigger is better on a throttle body.

I was talking Flywheel HP.... We are going to make the big power with the nitrous (400 hit) so I'm talking NA power at the crank....

So madman, is it true that you can't over-throttle body an EFI motor with a standalone engine management system (FAST XFI on mine)?????

Cuz I've heard nightmares about carb guys that are running a carb way too big and have nothing but driveability and tuneability problems.... cause hell i'll slap the 2000cfm accufab on there and call it a day if that's the case..... same price so it's worth it for me....

Carbs handle fuel though...that's usually why guys run into problems tuning ginormous carbs.

Yes I have always spun my small blocks high. You would be better off getting a 200cfm tb. I know Joe O picked up alot on his little LT1 when he switched.
