M6 guys with drag radials, come in
Everyone knows that it's a lot tougher for us M6 guys to effectively launch our cars on drag radials and it takes a lot of work with pressure, clutch technique, launch rpm, etc... I think it would be a good idea if we all shared our setup, including major mods, what kind of DRs (size and type), psi, clutch, RWHP/RWTQ, launch technique, best 60' time, and anything else you feel would be relevant and helpful.
I have a TTP V3 Equalizer cam, bolts ons, torque arm, SFCs, Hotchkis springs, Spec Stage III and a Moser 12 bolt w/ 4.11s. 423 RWHP, 378 RWTQ. Launching my 255/50/16 Mickey Thompson radials my best 60's was a 1.80 feathering the clutch at 3000 rpm at 30 psi (this was my lowest after raising the pressure up from 20 psi). Ran a 12.2 at 117 mph. I've only had them at the track once but feel confident with this technique I could get it down to a high 1.6 and see 11.8-11.7.

I ran on a 26x10.5 ET street last year. Which are going on 3yrs old now and over 80 passes on them.
Mods in sig. But it was a cam only last year. A TR 230/224. And every other bolt on.
Those tires would cut 60's from 2.0 to low 1.50's on a 150 shot.
I would drop the clutch anywhere from 2.5K to 4K and just hammer it.
On a prepped track they would hook like sweaty nuts to your leg. On a non prepped track they will spin a few feet and kill the 60 a little bit.
This year I bought a set of 28" ET drags. I can't wait to see what they do on the dope.

I slip mine from 2500-3000 on 17" nittos. ~18 psi. Car has longtubes, pulley and a lid. SFC's, LCA's, relocation brackets, and the heater hose mod. 1.84 60', it hooks perfect on the street though too. IM just scared to break the rear.

Well I just recently picked up some Drag Radials and have been trying to get things to work, but haven't had a whole lot of time to play with it yet. At the moment it is looking to be some feathering from 3000. I am running 17in Nitto with TQ arm, LCAs, SFC, Panhard, BMR Springs, full boltons and a 100shot. I am also scared to really launch it too hard as I am still playing with the stock 10 bolt With the current only had 2 runs one was a real low RPM launch attempt which bogged and lurched and netted a 2.77 60ft the other was a 3k dump which resulted in a twisted and mangled Driveshaft.
