Default pullin fronts on a 10 bolt?

how many people have pulled the fronts on their 10 bolt successfully and with what suspension mods and tire combo?

Drag shocks front & rear, stock leaf springs, 4.56 gear in a stock '70 1/2 8.5" 10 bolt, stock posi unit, 29 X 10 M/T slicks, removed all the weight possible, relocated batteries to trunk.

Ran 9.88 @ 139 not very consistant, had to abort many runs, got out of shape alot.
Added 9" & ladder bars, much safer. Hope it helps.

i had mine about 12 inches in the air saturday night on the stock rear(ex. 4.10s) check sig for mods

im getting ready to switch to a 9" or 8.8 soon though.

I'm running 7.50's with a 1.60 60 ft. and can pull them about an 1". Still running the stock 10-bolt with the only mod to it being 3.73 gears.

8.5 10 bolt is a million times stronger...id say pulling the wheels isnt really the problem, uinless your only pulling them because the stall hits very hard

i just wanna know if many people have done it, i just wanna be able to say that i've done it too the only stuff i have so far is in my sig so i think im gonna be needing a stall and some drag shocks and springs (christmas present ) already runnin some et streets in the back when i race along with the stuff i have in the sig along with some slight weight reductions

Ive done it plenty of times. Cam only LT1, Qa1s, spohn torque arm, 4000 stall, 28x11.5 etstreets.

this is good, what i like to hear, people pulling their front wheels on 10 bolts with out them turning in to scrap metal lol

couple inches with Yank SS4000 QA1's front and back with their drag springs up front. Stock 3.23 gears and 26X8.5X15 ET Drag on Prostars. Been doing it for 3 years. I use a MAC diff cover.

I never pulled the wheels but before I blew her up she did go 13.0@106 1.7 60'and did have full excursion of front suspension, oh ya running housier slicks and then SNAP.

anyone pulled them on 4.10 or 3.73? i know 3.42 and 3.23 are stong...few guys locallly are in the 1.41-1.43 range with them leaving on 150 shots...

im worried zbout mt 3.73 im alreayd in the 1.64 range and want to leav on 125 with an auto...im afraid there goana go boom???????

im on 4.10's with an auto no juice though, im hopin mine will break so i dont have to worry about it anymore

Better hope that if it breaks, it breaks right off the line. A mid track lock-up at 80+mph is going to be bad.

Autos are easier on the rear than sticks (no 6k rpm side steps).

I've pulled stock 16" wheels about an inch or so many times cuttin 1.5 60' times. Stock suspension, stock 10 bolt. Bent the tq arm though.
