you're not trying hard enough. my stock 273 car would annihilate the tires to the top of 2nd gear (over 100 mph..)

Try modulating the brake pedal. I've seen some people have issues like this because they're trying to hold the brake pedal too hard.

I know what this is. Its the Traction Controle.

I have the same problem. Easy thing to overcome tho. Just,.when you do your burnouts,..If your start'n from first,.rev up, slip into second but don't hold it there. Then imediadiatly into 3rd. Almost like your only focusing on 1st and 3rd while your burning out. I get long, smokey burnouts like this. Good luck!

He has an auto tho. Line Locks(Brake Controle Kit) are for manuals buddy.

If you want to actually fix the issue and you have an Auto,..... SLP sells a TCS Module for 75 bucks thats gives you an On/Off switch for the TCS. A4 guys know what i'm talking about. Honestly,....If you wanna go this route,.be my guest. But otherwise,. try out the technique that explained first.

or you could just switch off the TCS before you do the burnout like most other people if that is indeed your problem

I think he's ask'n cuz he doesn't have a switch,.much like me! Some of us dont have a TCS switch. Still try'n to figure that one out. Basically,...we can't turn ours off! Thats why SLP created the TCS module.

you can use line locks on auto cars as well. i run a th350 and personally i like to not destroy my rear brakes doing a brake torque. push the brakes down hit the line lock let go and heat the tires up. doesnt matter if you're auto or 6 speed

WHAT!?!?!?!

what the hell am i missing here???? every auto car i've owned i put a linelock on. that's the right way to do a burnout because then you're not tearing up the rear brakes!

step 1) pull into the water box, then slightly forward out of it.....

step 2) hit the brakes hard.....

step 3) activate linelock......

step 4) do burnout til you get a nice haze...or a big smokey on the street to impress onlookers or yourself

step 5) deactivate linelock while you're still on the gas

step 6) ride it out or let off

step 7) there is no step 7, you're done with the burnout and you're grinnin' ear to ear man! jeeze.

If you don't have a TCS switch then you don't have TCS.

oh and the slp tcs module you are talking about plugs between the wriring harness and the tcs switch. it reverses its operation. it makes it so the tcs is always off and you hit the switch to turn it on. if you dont have a tcs switch it is useless to you
