What do you want to know? You have a stock car. You're not going to beat him unless you start modding it. So, for a couple hundred bucks, throw a nitrous kit on your car and make it close. What type of tires is he running? What tires are you running? Drag racing is won and lost in the 60'

I run 7.2s in the 1/8 on spray
I run 7.7s in the 1/8 on motor.

Get yourself a set of M/T ET Street Radials....power isn't good without traction.
However, you seem to want to roll race him...set of Nittos will hook up decent for a more streetable tire.

If you don't have a lid, start there. Buy yourself a set of pacesetter headers and a good catback system. Get yourself a tune. You have to build a foundation. That will eat up your money right there. Then spray it. Put a nice size cam in her.....going to need another tune.
You're looking at a couple thousand right there. Welcome to modding.

There is a vacuum "Y" near the wastegate on his car. Reverse the vacuum lines. One is a restricted line and the other is not. He will never notice. Loosen the grounds on the back of the passenger side head too.

Only joking. I used to work on tons of them. We were the 1st single turbo in the 7s @171 MPH.

Do what the other guys said. I'm kind of in favor of a hidden juice system.

with that 1/8 MPH your not gonna get him from a roll. With his 19" wheels, you have a better chance from a dig than a roll. I trap 120 in the 1/4 and only go 93mph in the 1/8th, so he even has me by a good 5-6mph there. I say just spray it and hope for the best.

his car is only fast from a stop beacuse he has to powerbrake to leave with some boost from a roll his turbo takes a while to spool up so i might be able to get him right now he flat out smokes me by like 6-8 cars from a stop and from a roll it more like 5 cars either way im getting beat every time

spray it. don't let him run the it's a v6 bullshit. the gn has a power adder and that turbo is worth more power then the extra two cyl the v8 has. as you can see i've already been through this. my bud has a 10sec GN and i have a 10sec ta.even he will tell you a power adder on a v6 is worth more then ci's so spray him. if you start hooking too well, your rear will not last long and he will win again. goodluck to ya.
