Default Screw in slick, can it be patched or no?

Think I already know I'll need new ones but I figured I'd ask.

with the stresses put on slicks i wouldnt risk it especially for what theyre used for, a $160 slick is cheaper than a blowout at the 1000' mark

Yeah, I figured and I agree. I already ordered new ones. The 2 tires are gonna cost around $400, that was one expensive screw but I'm glad I noticed it considering what could have gone wrong if I didn't.

Man, I was thinkin' about doing that but so many people have told me not to.
I'm glad you're still running strong on your patch. You wanna buy a set of slicks cheap?

I already ordered new one, I'm gonna hang on to them, have them patched and I'll keep them for now for spares.
Are you going to the rental on the 23rd?

easy oversite but the shootout is before the rental. Oct. 30th shootout.......Nov.6th rental. I'm having the car retuned by Don Kinder(Slowhawk) from DEZ racing this friday. For the rental I'm going to pull more weight from the car -carpet,radio,speakers,door panels, etc. I thought you wanted to go to the rental on Nov.6th?

All this time I thought it was gonna be Oct 6th, that's why I couldn't make it. So it's Nov 6th. Now I'm in for the Oct 23rd one, at least I THINK it's October, hehe. I'm gonna check with the guy who's lending me the trailor for the 23rd and see if I can get it for the 6th also. I'll shoot a pm when I know for sure. I could drive it down to Atco but don't really want to.
