Default Who sells a fiberglass rear hatch?

Does anyone sell a fiberglass rear hatch with a Lexan window for the 93-02 firebirds? If so, what is the weight savings over a steel hatch with a glass window?

Believe it or not, GM makes one and it's already on your car.
As far as the window goes I think there are a couple of companies, Speedglass is one I think.

Thanks Mark. I checked them out. Summit and Jegs is a supplier. They carry a window kit which includes Windshield, rear window and both door windows.

I'd like to see that rear window when you get in on the car. I know the stock glass is real heavy, wouldn't mind getting rid of a few pounds myself.

I'll let you know as soon as I get some details. I'm going to call this week and find out whats involved. I'm sure it will not be able to use hinges with it and the shocks. We'll see soon enough. Thanks for the name of the manufacturer. Hope to see you the 21st @ E-Town
