Default Best engine mount setup?

I'm currently running a BMR k-member and wonder if anyone offers a set of solid mounts that fit in the factory locations. Spohn will not work.

Would a motor plate be better? The car should make about 800rwhp with nitrous, and will primarily be used as a track car. It will be run on the street some, but comfort is not an issue. Also, If running a plate on the front, is the mid plate necessary?

Would poly mounts be good enuff?

I am also looking for a solid mount that will fit into a BMR k-member.

What is the benefit of a solid mount over a rubber or Poly?
What is the benefit of a motor plate over a solid mount?
For a max effort Street/Strip 650rwhp

Front plate & Mid plate is obviously the best. Stronger, less stress on block, make the whole set up & chassis stronger, u can mount stuff on them ect ect.

Only problem is u will usually need custom headers, mid plate will block off the shelf set.

stevemilz, what's the purpose of the tubular bars below the front plate? Just to rest the plate/engine on while bolting it down?

Is a mid plate necessary, or is the front plate enough for my car? I know it would be better, but I already have a set of 1 7/8 stepped to 2" kooks. I don't want to get another set of headers just to clear the mid plate. Also, how will the alt. mount with the front plate?

I always thought Motor plate/ Mid plate went hand in hand........

You can call KTS talk to Dave to find out more.
