I run a 30x10.5x15 without any major problems.

this tire size is fine 30x10.5x15...however i cant launch in boost with out the tires blowing off. i would like to do a nice whellie but the tires blow off watch this video with the first run its floored at 3600 rpms and watch how bad it is on psi of tire pressure

dude, i would delete that link...the announcer owns you... but a 28x10.5 is more than enough tire for your car. get the suspension right and it will be fine.

btw, coach, you ever going to get me some pics of your wheel well clearancing?

I agree with everyone else, get the suspension dialed in and you'll be golded. No reason to carry the extra mass of a big tire if you don't need to. What kind of torque arm are you using? A good torque arm will work wonders too, like a Madman TA, which I just happen to have for sale (shameless plug )

You should be good then, just get to the track and start tuning it all in, you can get it to hook I'm sure. What kind of dyno numbers are we talking?
