Default Body Flex?

Will the body parts flex to the point of doors not closing, t-tops not sealing or the gaps of the fender to door change on a 440 rwhp 99 T/A m6? The car has drag radials and will see the track once in a while. What would help? Thanks for the input.

SFC's and a cage will help the car refrain from flexing. There's always horror stories to be heard, but one, either, or both of the above mentioned will greatly help.

The amount of power required to flex the body to the point you stated, also requires the use of at least a 5-point roll bar. The roll bar will assist in keeping the body from flexing that badly, SFC will also help as tim99ws6 said.

I actually cut several 1.5 60 foots and never had any problems, then one of my t-tops actually broke on one pass. I also noticed a slight crease in the quarter panel. I put on subframes after that. I highly suggest SFC's or a cage.

I've had sfc's and a roll bar/cage in the car since almost day one. My t tops don't leak and I can jack up the car from one side and open and close the doors, no problem. They are a must.

you better put weld on sub frame connectors before you make a track visit... and if you plan on going very fast youll need a 6pnt roll bar any way.
