9 inch instal
i just picked up a moser 9 inch for pretty cheap but its out of a 02 z28 and my car is a 93 z28 and the guy said it has different backing plates then mine.what do i need to do to instal it?
it also has a wolfcraft drag bar welded onto it,shouldnt that fit on a 93 the same as an 02?

I would assume you could as long as you had a good donor car to get all the essentials off of. Keep in mind the larger rear brakes and the having to be ground on for Draglites.

There are some different spacers on the bearings on LT1 cars, the distance between the axle and caliper mount is slightly different. If you call moser they will tell you the difference, I remember mine had a couple extra spacers to go between the bearing and axle if it was a LT1.
As mentioned you will have to grind the LS1 calipers to fit welds and most other drag wheels. Not really a big deal..
You will have to buy the brackets from wolfe that weld to yout car for the sway bar or you can make them yourself.

maybe it will be easyer to just get some strange rear drag breaks,what do you guys think?
does anyone have a pic of the brackets for the wolfe sway bar?im sure i can make that myself

thanks,i just went to home depot and got the frame tabs i need.that looks like it will be easy to do so now all i have to do is order some strange drag brakes and ill be good to go i think
