Madman, if you narrowed the rims, how much would you ahve ot take off to clear your rack? This might be an option for the guys that want some of both worlds.
I seen this on another post.
I didn't know this was possible. Who can do it? How much does it cost?
They are 10 spoke silver painted

BTLFEDSS - I've looked into this several times and the skinniest tire I can find is 205/55/17. Tire rack recommends a 5.5"-7" rim.

How wide are your rims and what tire size are you running?

FYI, M&H now makes a 17" skinny tire. The Supra guys are trying out the first batch.

Are the M&H skinnies made to be used with front brakes. A lot of the 17" tires are made for cars with no front brakes.

Yes, with front brakes! These are streetable cars. Of course, with any skinny, you will lose a little braking grip.

Thanks. I got to thinking I don't want bias plys on the front with Drag Radials on the rear. I'm probably going with 205/55/17.

Besides, a vendor said 5.5" or 6" wide is the skiniest they can make 98-00 WS6 wheels.

Thanks again

Not my car i believe they are 4.5's. I saw this guy at our local track he was running a Hoosier,26/7.5/17.I forget what model but is a radial.I got more pics and the name of the tire i'll get it up later

spare tires are rated for somewhere around under 50 mph... i dont think 100+ mph would be a good idea on them.
