Driveshaft Safety Loop with True Duals?
I got no response in the handling section, so maybe you guys can help...
I'm running true duals and plan to go to the strip, but I can't find a d/s safety loop that will work with them. Some of you guys have to be running duals...what safety loop are you using?

Ive seen one that someone had on a TH400, It mounted to the trans mount bolts on the tailshaft. Not sure if that would be NHRA legal or not, but seemed like a great way to package it all.
Basically 2 legs coming from the loop going straight forward to the bolts.

Check this thread,,,,

We used an SLP DS safety loop.
However the duals were built with the loop installed.

I have heard about the Lakewood, but I don't think it would fit either...I'll look at it more.
But I can't find the Metco anywhere...where can I get one of those (or at least look at a picture of one?)?

Those pics are great, very similar to what i have except i dumped just in front of the rear end.But where they have the ds loop bolted is where my bar that my TA bolts to and my 3" pipes go through the bend in that bar ,not very much room left over.

Well, mine is actually a 3" x-pipe with Pro Flow twister mufflers. The mufflers still dump before the axle though. They both go down each side of the transmission tunnel.

That sounds exactly like my setup...where did you buy the Metco?
