Default Cuttin Bump Stops

What are you guys using to cut that section off with?

Pics are wonderful

you can see at the top of the pic were I cut it. I used a snapon air hammer and a grinder to clean it up some. caution it is 3 layers thick

I used a grinder with a wafer wheels and then just grinded down the sharp spots. Don't forget to throw some paint on it when you're done.

I used a cutoff wheel with an air compressor and this is all I had to trim to fit 325/50 mt radials !

a cut off wheel, sawzall, plasma cutter... I've used all of them before on customer's cars and any of them will do fine.

are there any problems launching a car HARD w/ the stops removed?

Same here. Sawzall would have been a little easier though.

Got a friend with a 9", and he says he can't run the back of his car as low as mine. Guess that's why.

It allows some more room in the wheel wells.. this way you can run a wider tire

anyone have a pic of the bump stop before cutting? i wont be able to look at my car for a few days now. just thinking i might go ahead and cutting them out when i get over there this weekend.

Mine is the same way from being lowered.

Here is were the 9" bracket hits the floor. It is that big *** bracket on the rear end that makes the TQ arm fit it. Thats what hits the floor.

My 12 bolt tried to spit a tooth from the ring gear through the cover last summer, this gear set has made it all year. I'm going to a "Pro" gear set this winter, hope it will live. Otherwise I'll have to go to a 9". Probably should have done that originally.
