I did ozite a couple months ago. Just take your time and use plenty of adhesive and it will turn out great.

i've actually drove the car very little.... because of me having to do small random things to get the car in shape to make some shows this spring...

i havent got the tune dead on yet but it already has more power than my chassis/suspension can hold on these 8 month old MT drag radials...

i know, i know its taken me forever to keep things moving on the car but you have to realize the car was torn into a million little pieces and im the one putting them back together and making everything "neat" in my spare time (or lack there of )...

so far though im very pleased with the whole build... i've got some front runner MT wheels and tires on the way also, hopefully they will look good with the bogart D10s on the rear...

im getting ready to make a small sheet metal box that goes behind my 1/4 stick shifter to cover up my terminal block and make me a small arm rest that has my T-brake and some other switches on it... depending on how well i weld this ill leave it bare or use the carpet on it

i plan on getting the strange front race brakes and possible putting a pin-on hood on the car before summer

please post the pic's up, I'm gonna do the ozite after my rollbar gets welded in and want to see what it will look like.. I think it will turn out good, but a car with it in already would be nice to see.

so it just looks like some carpet to me. Whats the differance from that or goin to a fabric store and getting something from there? FYI, we took my buddys carpet out and pulled the think insulation off and was 11lbs lost. So stock carpet -11lbs or this. Ant more weight savings or just nice to have 1 solid piece of carpet so you have no holes in it from the rear seats or seat belts.

This looks very tempting, but I'd like to know just how much weight is really saved vs the stock carpet?

The complete roll of Ozite I used weighed only 7lbs, not sure how much the stocker weighs but I'd say its about 5 times heavier.

so do you glue it down to the floor?? So its a one time lay down. So if you gotta run wires or anything under the carpet your S.O.L.? And how do you get it to form to the different angles and curves without it bunching up in sections?

i'll glue down most of it but not all of it... the parts that i have wires under ill put some velcro* down.... i need a slit in it right in front of the radio any ways for my push button on my fire supressing system and i also have some wires run down through there beside my shifter and into my terminal block...
