Default Launch question/problem/solution

Im confused on spinning vs bogging. I can pick either one but there is no middle ground to choose.app 2700 and dump I bogg app 2800 and dump and I spin my nitto dr to death. Is the bogg caused by the tires hooking and the rpm dropping too quick or low?

I keep hearing people say slip the clutch. Will that let me launch at higher rpm say 3500 so if the tires hook I dont drop way out of the powerband and bog.

you need to look into your suspension some or driving, i was cutting mid to low 1.7's on 245 nittos on stock wheels when i was just on boltons running low 12's at full weight with only relocation brackets and a torque arm. what clutch you using? what tire pressure? i was leaving around 3000-3200 and not sidesteping it just getting off farily quickly

slipping the clutch will keep it from spinning, but its rough on the clutch. i would rather put some bfg's or m/t's on it.

Buy a set of slicks for the track!
Radials don't work on a stick car!
You will Never be happy with your Nittos at the track, they will bogg or spin, there is no in-between on stick car with them.

Slick vert you seem to be in the minority with me that the nitto either bog or spin (60 ft killers) SmokinTA tried many psi Im guessin stock clutch (which feels fine) I dont side step just let up the clutch pedal and mash the gas pedal as fast as I can at the same time as I said at 27-2800.
