Default Eibach Prokit for Drag/Dig racing?? Is that nuts?

I have a Eibach Pro-kit on my car... it looks great compared to stock ride height..... well... I am getting the Iron 408 put in and adding more weight to the front ....... who thinks this prokit will seriously keep me from running good times at the track?

what would you suggest to do to get a better 60ft? for cheap.

You should be fine as long as you have relocation brackets on there.

that dude is a road racer...No clue how to make a car hook from a dig.

Mike Pro Kit springs work nice when everything is in sink.

1.3's on mine.

So you are saying that just because Sam Strano Road races and sets road racing combos he couldn't do a drag style setup? I am sure he would know how to he just does a lot in the Road racing world. Thy guy is a suspension freak!!

For the most part yes thats what im saying. he has a specialty that he enjoys and does well at. Compare him to David Wolfe or another big name stock suspension guy and he wont even compare. Theres a difference between knowing what components to use in a given application and actually fabricating the parts from scratch to get you there. Sure Sam may fab up some small time stuff, not saying that. But theres no comparison with that and the stuff that the chassic shops do for us in this sport.

please dont compare road racing suspensions to drag suspensions...

Mike, what do you do to get 1.3's??

Torque arm, relocation brackets (since it is lowered), Panhard bar, LCA's, and a Wolfe or UMI Adj. Torque Arm....... will that be enough to cut 1.4's and 1.3's??? if the power is there?

i dont want to hang big air... just raise the front a small bit

you know... i might get scarrrrred sittin on the back bumper!!!

I was in no way atall comparing a drag setup to a road race setup they are a totally different setup. I was just stating that Sam Strano is a susp. expert and I am pretty sure if he decided he wanted to go drag racing he could, and make a car hook thats all.

As far as the 1.3s he is talking about that is his 60ft times which is really good

using QA1 fronts with 275# springs in the front and 150# springs in the rear with wolfe adjustable spring perches.

never really had any luck with the prokit in my car or the black TA that we took to the track a few times. just didn't seem like it transfered weight as well as it should, ofcourse that car had TOTALLY stock suspension otherwise...
