Default question about 4.6 mod motors

I have a friend that has a 2000 mustang gt and he is thinking about putting stage 2 cams and stage 2 patriot heads on it. With that and exhaust tune, auto with shift kit 3.73 gears. what do those run 1/4 and also how much power do they put to the ground with an auto. Will they beat an 2002 ws6 with headers, exhaust, tune, lid, drag radials, auto trans, that runs a 12.8 @ 109 Mustang fans let me know what kind of power you are making with cams and heads in your 4.6. Thanks, Jared

Dope- I would steer him to that site but the traffic on it is less than stellar. Too many mustang sites as it is. But to answer his question I would say 280-310rwhp and around 320-330rwtq. With a nice stall and shift kit I'd say low 12's with a hard launch. The LS1 will make more power than that auto 2v but if its a roll race on the street that normally goes longer than a 1/4...LS1 hands down. At the strip it would be close. Again, don't know what tires are on the 4.6. Hope this helps. -Mark
