Default Michelin PS2s at the drag strip

Hi, I have a '99 C5 vette that I'd like to take to the local drag strip. I'm running PS2s all around, and want to get the best launch possible. Should I let some of the air out of my rear tires?

No, letting air our of regular radials just cups the tread and reduces the contact patch.

Just drive around the water box, do a quick spin (1-2 seconds) to clean the tires and get them slightly warm, and launch with as much rpm as the car will handle.

One technique that some say works is to bring the car to an RPM where it just barely bogs. Launch the car, and right as the front end starts to come down, roll into the gas.
