12:1 compression and 104 octane
I have 12:1 comp. and run 24 degrees of timing with 93 octane. If I run 104 how much timing do you think I can run?Is it worth doing?I dont want to run race gas to only pick up a tenth and 1 mph.
I'm running 10.39 @ 131.17 with a 1.52 60'
Thanks Steve

I run a 105 unleaded in my car, but it't about 12.8 to 1 compression. Cam has alot to do with what fuel will work too, the DCR really dictates the needed fuel as much or more then the static compression does.
That being said... I know I can run alot more timing then I have now with the 105, but we figured with a brand new motor there was no reason to really set it on kill right away, be better to get s few runs on it and shake the car out before going crazy.
