Default Front tires

We need a new set of front tires and want to get some feedback on what you are running and if you would buy the same tire again. These tires are for the track only.

I don't think there's any difference really.

I'm running what I think are old VW tires on the front of my car and they're holding up just fine . When I buy wheels I'm going to get Hoosier front runners or whatever matches the rears I'm running at the time.

I do know I had M/T's on when I bought the car and they were extremely worn/borderline bald (not sure how old though). My dad bought Hoosiers for his car and they have tons of tread and no wear through 2 seasons.

I have M/T ET Fronts on my Track only front wheels......
They work just fine and are light as hell......
Alot of people steer away from the VW tires for 2 reasons...
1. They are not speed rated to the MPH we can do...
2. There not rated to the wieght of our car either..... there not an 8 ply tire....

Goodyear frontrunners... lightest drag tire i believe. mine lasted 2 seasons of driving from the house to the track and back home. (not that far)

Ran the M/T front runners for years. Just switched to Hoosiers only because they will match the rear tires. Either are just fine.

Theres a huge difference.

I picked up et and 60 ft with some hoosier runners I was given. Not to mention the car reacted faster to front shock settings.

I like the Good Years or the M/T's Patrick. 26" tall will be nice, 27's are good too.

.

Front runners are pretty much the same, I've used, goodyear, Mickey's and Hoosier

all worked the exact same.

I only run Hoosier now, but that's because my slow car runs better with them,
fast car runs the same with anything.
