Question Shock Settings

I know this has been asked millions of times but need ur help. Finally got the car ready to go to the track, now just need some starting points on my shocks. Everything thing else is pretty much dialed in. I have qa1 single adjustables all around. I will be coming out on a transbrake around 4200 rpms. Has 4.56 gears with a th400. Motor makes little over 700 to the flywheel. And have 28 et drags on the back. Hopefully she will pullem a few inches! Any suggestions will be nice.

I have an iron block with 4:10's, 28's and a th350 off the transbrake I pull the wheels pretty good. I set mine at 6 out back and 0 up front. I've set the fronts as high as 6 and it pulls them up just the same and my 60' was about the same.
Now you have 4:56's. I'd set the back at 6 and the fronts at 6-8 to start. Do you have a long or short torque arm? If it's the shorter one I'd start with the 8 setting up front and see where you're at.

How do the SA work in the rear since the bump or compression is not adjustable? Shouldnt they be the opposite of how the fronts work? Can anyone explain loose #1 and tight #9 as how it relates to front vs rear and traction??
