M6 vs. A4
Ok here it is I have a 2000 A4 Camaro Z28 and Buddy of mine has a 1999 M6 Trans Am with a WS6 Hood. We both have the same mods done right now, mine are in the sig, with the only difference being he has a Magnaflow exhaust and I have the Corsa. We will both be putting in the same cam (TSP Magic Stick 4) and will also be getting new gears. I was thinking 3.73 for mine (the A4) and he is thinking 4.10 for his (the M6). Who should win a race, from a start at the drag strip and from a rolling start on the street? Just curious as all of you I would like no more than to beat another driver so I am looking for some input on the differences between these two setups. Lastly for this set up in my auto is it necessary to get a converter as well?

I think you will beat him at the track and he will beat you from a roll if he is a good driver. And BTW, hell yeah it's necessary to get a stall. Trust me you will love it.

I have had a TH350 and a Tremec in the same car with the same motor, with the same gears...
Result: The SAME ET. Stick mphed higher though. Last trip to the drags with a muncie 4 speed, variance in ET for the night: 0.001 Lets go to the bracket races.
