what is the correct wat to setup a BMR extreme sway bar

Default what is the correct wat to setup a BMR extreme sway bar

do you just preload the **** ou of or what and when they mean preload is that pulling the right side bar up?

Set it at zero preload and go test. This is a stiff bar and may not need preload. After you get a baseline then you can start to adjust.

per BMR (lee) half turn preload on the pass side from even. thats its. mine have gone 1.3 60' using that method.

yea, what he said. dont put so much on it that the car is sitting uneven.

well i put it back to zero which is a good thing i had it preloaded so much it wasn't transfering weight

thanks guys now to get the damn hals dialed in

transfering weight will be done with your tq arm and front shocks, not the rear anti roll bar.

i was taught you unhook the endlinks from the bar, have someone as close to your bodyweight as possible sit in the drivers seat, and then set it up. same thing with your front ride height, etc. or you can just set the drivers side front height like 1/4" higher than the passenger side if no one is in the car. that's what i've always done. but last time i put my drag bar back on my 12 botl i had someone sitting in the car for me.

When i first got mine on it was set at zero. i went to the track and the car shot to the left. i just kept loading the passenger side a turn at a time ti'll my car went straight. my 60 foots went from a 1.50 to a 1.42 with no other mods but the b.m.r bar.

how do you tell where it's set at? I dont have any instructions that may have came with mine

I guess not too many people use anti roll bars. I was curious on adj also ie make the links longer or shorter and how it effects weight transfer body roll and ultimately traction. Its too bad the thread died.
