Default ! rear bumper support

I am wondering if by doing this it will cause the rear bumper to sag or to act as a parachute and slow me down... I am wanting to do this before I run this season but need to know if all you do is pull the support or if you have to find a way to secure the bumper where it used to attach to the support? any help would be appreciated

I am thinking of adding a bar mounted to the same points...would make a great place to mount a 'chute some day

I don't think it would it does not even move when going fast. I think if it was catching wind it would be shaking a little at least

I already have the chute mount bar there. So it has more strength than the original. Not sure on the air drag factor. After I go fuel cell I may look at an aluminum plate.

cant really see anything from that far away...i guess the best would be like a rear mounted camera behind the bumper...but one can only wish i guess...
