help getting my 60 ft down
ok so i went to the track (it was the first time the ta saw the track) and the lowest time i could cut was an embarassing 13.8 with a 2.2 60ft(spun thru second) at 105. i know i need better tires cuz the tires that are on it right now are eagle gs-c's with a little less than 50% tread. im doing light burnouts(mostly cuz i dont want to break the rear) anyone have any tips on getting a lower 60ft.
edit* completely stock suspension, shitty tires, 3.73's

I pulled a 1.86 60' with 275 michelin pilot's, and 100% stock suspension and full weight of 3580 w/o driver (I weigh 160). I think its all in the launch technique. I have an LS7 clutch, and I launched at 5K on that run. Jeeps me in my power band, and I just ride the clutch out, not a dump, but obviously not stupidly excessivly where you just burn out your clutch or pull like 2.4's or something. just get some seat time in.
