Got started on the 25.5 cage
We're converting my sportsman cage (standard 8-point) to SFI 25.5. Alot of the required bars were already done earlier (dash, rocker bars, etc). We've framed out the funny car cage

Very nice looking cage so far. I just got back from checking on the progress of my 10 point cage.
I felt A LOT safer sitting in the car and thats with no door bars in yet. Can only think how safe you feel in a 25.5!
I have bent door bars for now but getting in the car with my 6'2 200 pound frame will be interesting. Do you have do modify the arm rests to get the doors to shut with the straight door bars or are the door bars not really straight? as in have a bend to them?
