Default Strange manual brake master questions...

I went ahead and put the manual master in today, I know it needs a new hole in the brake pedal, but where are you guys putting it? I've heard ~1/2 above the original location, and some have even posted 5/8...whats the skinny here? Also, does anyone have a pic of how it hooked up when finished? right now it would mount with the heim joint on the left of the actual pedal with a bolt going through there. Ehh...any help will be appreciated.

Remove the factory brake booster & master cylinder

When converting to a manual brake system, the pedal ratio will need to be altered:

Remove brake pedal assembly
Drill 3/8” dia. Hole 1” above the factory booster rod mounting rivet
Reassemble brake pedal assembly using aluminum firewall adapter included in this kit, and bolting the new master cylinder assembly to the firewall.

Thats what I did and they work great. Moving the hole an inch higher gives it a straighter shot to the master cylinder.
